Full sized magazine I created from original branding, with considerations in market positioning.
Tasked with creating a magazine from scratch, I chose to make a magazine focusing on mental wellness. This allowed me to create a design system and content I relate with. This is a 42-page magazine with personally gathered and curated content, arranged around created branding.
In the ideation of this magazine, I chose a platform for the discussion of mental health. This would be a mag that utilizes a strong aesthetic influence while tackling the bubble of mental health issues. The idea is to seperate itself from similar existing content by avoiding lecturing the reader, and rather create a space where readers can interpret and reflect on the content. These decisions were made in order to construct a fitting brand visual.
